Opening Day for the Newburgh Farmers Market is Saturday, 8 – noon, Memorial Day Weekend!
2016 Indiana Bicentennial Plans in Warrick County
The Fireworks and Evening in the Park presented by Alcoa and United Fidelity Bank is Saturday, July 2nd and is an official Indiana Bicentennial Event.
Another Indiana Bicentennial Event is Newburgh Remembers. Newburgh will host a reenactment of the Newburgh Raid during the Civil War from Friday, July 15, 2016 through Sunday, July 17, 2016. This event will feature a Cotillion Ball, a reenactment of the Newburgh Raid and a Civil War skirmish, a Civil War beard competition, and a historic home tour. The event is designed to bring back to life the sights and sounds of Newburgh life during the American Civil War. Additional “Newburgh Remembers” information can be found at The Newburgh Museum.
Ghost Walks which is the third weekend in October and Newburgh Celebrates Christmas are both Official Indiana Bicentennial Events. You will not want to miss it.
