Civil War Cannon Rededication Ceremony

 Rose Hill Cemetery Rededication Ceremony

Civil War Cannon Donated by the Grand Army of the Republic, Warrick Post #262 in1904
(GAR composed of Union veterans of the Civil War donated this Civil War Flank Howitzer)

Rose Hill Cemetery has built a new and fitting memorial to house this cannon

Dedication will include a program in period full military dress

By the Sons of Union Veterans, 27th Indiana Volunteer Infantry Co. D

Accompanying the rededication will be the Red Banks ReUnion Band from Evansville playing Civil War era music


We would like to encourage students (especially those studying Indiana history), Scouts, 4-H Clubs,
and all interested organizations to attend this historically-correct and moving ceremony.
