Historic Newburgh is your destination vacation....even if it is just an afternoon vacation.  Newburgh is an architectural and historical gem nestled on a hillside overlooking the Ohio River.   We offer unique dining experiences; as well as wonderful boutiques, antique shops, and consignment shops. Walking tours are available at our Historic Newburgh Inc. and Warrick County Tourism office at 9 Jennings.  If you are in need of some pampering..... a visit to a local spa will refresh.

We have up-to-date meeting, reception and special event space.  You will want to check out Preservation Hall for that larger venue and the Lock and Dam for the smaller gathering.  The Lock Master Cottages are an ideal overnight location.  Sit out on the front porch and take in the sunset overlooking the Ohio.  We also have a number of restraunts that include reception and meeting space.

For those of you that live in the Tri-state.  Remember that shopping local helps our friends and neighbors.  They are the ones that donate to our fundraisers.  Their kids go to our schools and many of them will know you by name.

Newburgh is so much more than carefree leisure.  If you are moving to this area, you will find that the Town of Newburgh is an easy place to live.  We have many resources with great schools and people that care.  We are proud of our town and we love to share it.
