About the Event

Newburgh Ghostly Hayrides run each evening of October 11-13, 2024. Hayride tours will run every 20 minutes each night from 6pm to 9pm with 8:40 pm being the last tour of the night. Tickets for ghostly hayride tours are $15 per person, and every person must have a ticket to ride the hayride due to space limitations. The only exception is that children 3 and under may ride for free as long as the child is on an adult's lap the entirety of the ride. All hayride tickets include admission to Halloween Illuminations the night of your hayride.

All tours start at the Historic Newburgh Trailhead Visitor Center located at 10400 SR 662 West in Newburgh, IN. Public Parking at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 725 Frame Rd. Newburgh, IN.

Tours last approximately 50 minutes. Hayrides travel along Water Street and the tour ends with a walk across the historic red bridge which is sure to enlighten and frighten!

Bring the family for an evening of intrigue and education. Hear the astonishing tales of events that occurred near Newburgh's waterfront many years ago. On this tour, attendees will hear ghost stories from Newburgh's early settler days, the Civil War era, and even ghostly events that occurred during the 1900's. Listen to some of Newburgh's most mysterious tales, including the tales of the Steamboat Missouri and the Newburgh Tobacco Company's "Homespun Twist". This is a great tour for any history enthusiast!
